“Salam Farmandeh” Anthem

The expression of respect of Iranian youth and those from 18 countries around the world toward the Savior of humanity.

Art is a sign of a nation’s cultural maturity. With its glorious history and unique culture, Iran has been at the forefront of art since the dawn of civilization. This has consistently been evident through globally successful artistic works that have been influential and trend-setting.

One of the latest examples of this artistic impact is the “Salam Farmandeh” anthem. Produced and released in one of the counties of Gilan province, it quickly spread throughout Iran and garnered countless fans. The anthem, centered on the respect of a younger generation toward the global Savior, Hazrat Mahdi (peace be upon him), soon became one of the most listened-to and viewed musical pieces and music videos in recent years in Iran. Very swiftly, clips featuring lip-syncs and covers of the song appeared on social media, and large-scale events themed around the anthem were held in various Iranian cities.

But that wasn’t the end of the story! “Salam Farmandeh” soon transcended Iran’s borders and was covered in different Muslim countries in the region. Interestingly, the savior-oriented message of the clip also drew positive reactions from some non-Muslim countries, leading them to join the “Salam Farmandeh” campaign.

After about five months, “Salam Farmandeh” had been performed in 18 countries worldwide, such as Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Azerbaijan, and others—each country interpreting its melody in its own language. These performances were marked by the participation of countless youth in those nations.

We can say that the “Salam Farmandeh” campaign — with its presence in 18 countries and its profound impact in Iran — became one of the most viewed artistic campaigns among the youth globally, on the theme of the Savior. A phenomenon that began from a small county in Gilan province, Iran.
