“Angels’ Celebration” with the Presence of the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Nine-year-old girls celebrated alongside Ayatollah Khamenei

The “Angels’ Celebration” is a national campaign in Iran, held to honor the coming of age of nine-year-old girls as they reach religious responsibility, creating a joyful and lasting memory of their first steps in faith. The program is organized with the participation of families and cultural institutions across the country. The first ceremony of this campaign took place at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiya in Tehran, attended by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. At this event, young Iranian girls participated, and the celebration was introduced as a model for similar ceremonies in different cities of Iran.
