Six-Kilometer Iftar in Holy Mashhad
Coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)
On the night of the birth anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba, the second Imam of the Shia, and in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan, about ۸۰,۰۰۰ people in Mashhad participated in a six-kilometer-long iftar. The ceremony was held near the holy shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him), the eighth Imam of the Shia, where a six-kilometer spread of food was laid out to host the participants.
